A walk to remember
One evening this summer,
A faint breeze was blowing,
The weather was very romantic and mesmerizing,
And as the sun was kissing the horizon-
Wishing all a good night and calling the moon,
I decided to take a stroll-
And absorb more of such weather.
I was very tired and exhausted-
Because of work and people-
I needed a break from the world,
And I saw my opportunity there.
So, off I went, not paying any heed to my friends-
Calling me to play with them.
I had indulged myself completely in the surroundings-
And had surrendered to the nature.
Oh mother Nature!
Oh the God who has created beautiful things-
As well as weird people!
Amaze me with your varying colours and romantic feeling
Let the wind kiss my face,
Let them take away all the negativeness from me,
Let the shower of rain drench me in its pure water-
And thus clean me of my remaining negativity and ego.
Let it fill my heart with pure and happy feelings-
Let it bring positive thoughts from heaven.
Midway, I realized I had forgot my earphones back home,
But nature’s call was more mesmerizing to hear.
I was so absorbed inhaling nature’s beauty-
That the regular ignorance of the familiar faces-
As they passed me didn’t dishearten me anymore
It was like Nature was beckoning all:
Come out from your walls, dear children,
Come out of your worries.
Surrender yourself to me completely.
Let me calm you,
Let me immerse you in purity and positivity,
Let me show my love to you,
Let me make you happy,
And let me show you my beauty.
Many people were strolling or cycling-
Enjoying the beauty of nature, just like me.
While some others, accustomed to their ignorance-
Didn’t feel a bit bad, ignoring nature’s call.
And why should they feel bad?
They who don’t know how to return back a smile-
How do you expect them to listen to the call of an Invisible beauty?
Don’t worry Mother Nature, don’t feel bad-
I’m here listening to your call,
I’m here surrendering to you,
Some people won’t change-
However hard you may try.
I was shocked after thinking about all these-
Because I was the one who was facing all ignorance-
And I was telling Nature how to get over it.
I too was trying to make some persons smile-
But accustomed to their nature, they won’t.
Thank you Nature for teaching me to make my own decisions,
Thanks Nature for teaching me to ignore the undeserved,
Thanks Nature for making me calm and refreshed,
Thanks Nature for pouring positive energy in me.
I tried to cherish the moment as best as I could.
It was really a mesmerizing stroll,
Which I will remember till death.
